How these statistics are calculated

A finish means “Finished” or a lapped finish. DNFs count starters who did not finish; DNS, DNQ, withdrawals, disqualifications and “Not classified” are excluded from DNF counts. Average finish uses classified positions of starters, including retirements but excluding disqualifications. Average grid excludes zero / unknown grids. Positions Gained/Lost sums grid minus finish only for completed races with valid positive grid and finishing positions. Retirements, non-starters, disqualifications, unclassified results and unknown/pit-lane grids are excluded. A dash means no eligible results; zero means eligible results have no net change. The tooltip’s Net Positions incl. DNFs retains the previous grid-minus-classified-position calculation, including retirements. These figures are not an overtake count. Rates use race starts as denominator. Grand Prix points per start exclude sprints; championship points come from official standings. Historical shared drives can produce multiple entries.
